• First public release. Free for Macs with Apple silicon and macOS 14 or newer.
• Review: a read-only security and health check of each server, sorted into what to fix now, what is worth doing and what is nice to have.
• Preview: every fix shows its exact steps before anything runs.
• Safe mode: before a firewall or SSH step the server arms its own rollback timer, and the change stays only after a fresh login works.
• Watch: SSH guesses, firewall blocks, web requests and logins, read from the server's own logs.
• Tools: runtimes and services updated one at a time, with services and ports compared before and after, and the last update undoable.
• Shared servers: mark a server as shared and Stenvakt never changes SSH access on it.
• Agents: Claude Code, Codex and Cursor connect over MCP; anything that changes a server waits for your approval.
• Email alerts when a guard on the server acts (needs a free account and a linked Mac).
• Updates: the app checks for new versions, checks the download and replaces itself.
